PetroChem Inspection Services is a full service provider of inspection services. Our clients rely on PetroChem for all their inspection needs—onstream, turnaround, quality assurance, and capital projects. We are a one-stop shop.

On-stream inspection – PetroChem is the largest provider of resident inspection in the nation, providing API and NDE services in over 25 plants.

Mechanical integrity – is our specialty. PetroChem has designed and implement process safety management in the nation's largest refineries and chemical plants and brings this expertise (including an in-depth understanding of the codes) to any facility who needs to come into OSHA or EPA compliance.

Turnaround inspection – No need to bring in another vendor at turnaround time. PetroChem's capabilities include not only visual but a vast array of NDE services particularly needed during shutdowns or outages.

NDE services – Standard and computerized radiography, guided wave ultrasonics, shear wave, eddy current, ACFM – PetroChem provides a complete line of non-destructive testing to meet the client's complete inspection needs.

Advanced services – PetroChem specializes in Advanced Non-destructive Testing (NDT) services such as Tube Testing (ECT, RFT, IRIS), Real Time Radiography (RTR), Computerized Radiography, Phased Array Ultrasonics, and Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM). Our Advanced Inspection Services Division has a dedicated staff tasked with developing specialized techniques, which are then applied in the field and used commercially.

Capital project inspection – Our VQA department offers qualified inspectors in most areas of the US as well as overseas—the majority reside locally to where the work is being done. PetroChem also provides third-party QA inspectors for new field construction.
